Allyson is a fine art photographer living in San Francisco. Her work reveals the beauty of industrial landscapes and explores urban decline and redevelopment in the Bay Area.
A member of The Los Angeles Center of Photography’s Reservoir project, Allyson worked with Rodrigo Valenzuela to create work that responds to the global crisis of loneliness. Exhibited recently at the Los Angeles Center for Photography, The Reservoir project will travel to other venues in 2026.
Her long-term project, A Place Out of Time, was shown recently at the Harvey Milk Photo Center in San Francisco and featured in Rfotofolio.
Upcoming exhibits include Intimacy at the SoHo Photo Gallery in New York, juried by Elinor Carucci, and A Light Exists in Spring at the Marjorie Evans Gallery, Sunset Center, Carmel CA., juried by Ann Jastrab.
Winner of the Soho Photo Gallery’s 2025 International Portfolio Contest, Allyson’s work was shown in the Center for Photographic Art’s 2025 Members’ Juried Exhibition and 2024 International Juried Exhibition. She was a Critical Mass 2024 finalist.
She has photographed for the Harlem Children’s Zone in New York, the cities of Oakland and Sunnyvale, CA, and is currently working on a project with Girls Inc of Alameda County.
Allyson is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Photographic Art, Carmel, and served on the National Board of Directors of the Girl Scouts USA and Girls Inc. She retired from Charles Schwab as Vice President, Retail Marketing.
